Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a basic room with a sea view looking across the expanse of North Wales, preferable to avoid noise from the front pathway or bar outside, overlooking the Beach/Sea. The staff are Brill in the restaurant and reception, especially Mark the head chef and Sue at breakfast. The location is brilliant and quiet, though in a not-so-nice looking area, served on Welsh slates-perfect. Dining was limited but delicious due to recent reopening. The facilities offer fresh sandwiches, with room for improvement in choices such as fresh fruit and cheeses.
The hotel had a lovely, spacious room with plenty of choices, although the door didn't close softly and the room was a bit too warm. The staff were warm and welcoming, except for a brief incident on our last evening. The location was great, close to the beach and town, though needing a refurb. The dining experience, while good, had a minor issue with breakfast service. Overall, it offered a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel is located right next to the beach, which is fantastic. The rooms were lovely, clean, and fresh but lacked a shelf for toiletries. Although the connecting door was thin, leading to disruptive noise from other guests at late hours, the overall stay was pleasant.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was upgraded to a lovely double room with a stunning sea view. However, the initial room was small and not well-maintained, but this was quickly resolved by the attentive staff. The location was fantastic with warm and welcoming staff creating a fantastic stay, although slightly isolated from town facilities. The dining options were good but could have been improved with a buffet style, and the facilities overall were great.
